We’re officially kicking off the construction of the Julie Rutgens Taliani Community Garden, and we need your help to bring it to life!
Our first community work day is Saturday, May 3rd, and we’re looking for volunteers to help us get the garden off the ground—literally.
Whether you’re great with tools, love working outside, or just want to be part of something meaningful, we’d love to have you join us. No experience necessary—just a willingness to lend a hand and a heart for community!
👷♀️ What We’ll Be Doing:
- Constructing the greenhouse
- Installing pavers and creating walking paths
- Building and positioning raised garden beds
- Prepping the site for planting
This garden will be a space for students, families, and community members to grow their own produce and give back. Food from the garden will be donated to the Hall Township Food Pantry and made available to residents in need—making every hour you volunteer a gift that keeps on giving.
